Step 2: Subscriptions¶
Purpose
Document every recurring subscription, service, and membership so they can be reviewed, transferred, paused, or canceled. This prevents surprise charges and ensures critical services stay running.
Audience
Primary: Hope. Secondary: executor, trustee, or anyone helping manage finances.
Prerequisites¶
- Access to Bitwarden (all usernames and passwords are stored there)
- Access to bank/credit card statements to cross-reference charges

Default action¶
All subscriptions are set to Keep & Transfer unless otherwise noted. Review each category and adjust as needed.
Critical services — do NOT cancel without a transfer plan
Internet (Spectrum), email (Proton), passwords (Bitwarden), domains (Cloudflare), and insurance (State Farm) must be transferred, not canceled.
