Invareo & Business Entities¶
Purpose
Step-by-step transfer and wind-down instructions for every business entity or organization Evan manages. Each section is written so it can be sent directly to the external contact for that entity.
Where to find credentials
All logins, bank portals, and vendor accounts are stored in Bitwarden. Search by service name or entity name.
Invareo LLC¶

What Invareo does¶
Invareo is Evan's consulting company. It is the entity through which he provides website management, domain administration, and technical consulting to the clients listed below.
Wind-down instructions¶
- Notify clients — Contact each entity below to arrange transfer of services they depend on.
- Close out contracts — Ensure no outstanding invoices or obligations.
- File final tax return — Work with the CPA (contact in Bitwarden) to file a final return and close the EIN.
- Close bank account — After all transactions clear.
- Dissolve the LLC — File dissolution with the state (Michigan). The registered agent info is in Bitwarden.
Priority
Transfer client services first (sections below), then wind down Invareo itself. The clients depend on infrastructure Evan manages.

What Evan manages¶
- Website — Hosted on a Vultr cloud VPS. Evan maintains the server and deploys updates.
- Domain (grwell.com) — Registered and managed in Evan's Cloudflare account.
Transfer instructions¶
Do not let the domain expire or the VPS lapse — the business website will go down.
1. Transfer the domain out of Cloudflare¶
- Log in to Cloudflare (credentials in Bitwarden).
- Go to Registrar → grwell.com → Manage.
- Unlock the domain and generate an authorization/EPP code.
- Send the auth code to info@grwell.com with instructions to initiate a transfer at their new registrar.
- Approve the transfer confirmation email when it arrives.
2. Transfer or hand off the Vultr VPS¶
Option A — Transfer the Vultr account/server:
- Log in to Vultr (credentials in Bitwarden).
- Contact Vultr support to transfer the server instance to the client's Vultr account.
- Provide the client with any server SSH keys or credentials (stored in Bitwarden).
Option B — Help them migrate to their own hosting:
- Provide the client with a full backup/snapshot of the VPS (Vultr dashboard → Snapshots).
- Share all relevant credentials (SSH, database, CMS admin) from Bitwarden.
- Once they confirm their new hosting is live, cancel the Vultr instance.
3. Notify the client¶
Send an email to info@grwell.com explaining:
- Domain transfer is in progress (or complete).
- Hosting credentials and/or server have been transferred.
- They will need to manage DNS, SSL, and hosting going forward.

- Google Workspace — Evan is the admin. Cliff uses it for business email.
Transfer instructions¶
1. Transfer Google Workspace ownership¶
- Log in to Google Admin Console (admin.google.com) with Evan's admin credentials (in Bitwarden).
- Go to Account → Admin roles and promote Cliff's account to Super Admin.
- Notify Cliff that he is now the primary admin.
- Cliff can then remove Evan's admin account or downgrade it.
2. Transfer the domain out of Cloudflare¶
- Log in to Cloudflare (credentials in Bitwarden).
- Go to Registrar → cliffmaineaviation.com → Manage.
- Unlock the domain and generate an authorization/EPP code.
- Send the auth code to cliff@cliffmaineaviation.com with transfer instructions.
DNS records for Google Workspace (MX, SPF, DKIM) must be recreated at the new registrar/DNS provider or email will stop working.
3. Notify the client¶
Call or email Cliff at the contact info above to coordinate timing.

What Evan manages¶
- Domains — Two domains across two registrars:

- Crossbar.org — Club management platform (registration, scheduling).
- Slack — Team communication workspace.
- MailerLite — Email marketing / newsletters to families.
Transfer instructions¶
Transfer to club board leadership
All of these services should be transferred to the next board member taking over tech responsibilities. Coordinate with the current board president.
1. Transfer Google Workspace ownership¶
- Log in to Google Admin Console with Evan's admin credentials (in Bitwarden).
- Promote the designated board member to Super Admin.
- They can then manage all club email accounts.
2. Transfer domains¶
calyouthlax.org (Cloudflare):
- Log in to Cloudflare (credentials in Bitwarden).
- Unlock the domain and generate an authorization/EPP code.
- Provide the auth code to the new tech contact to transfer to their registrar.
caledoniayouthlacrosse.com (GoDaddy):
- Log in to GoDaddy (credentials in Bitwarden).
- Either transfer the domain to the new admin's GoDaddy account, or unlock and generate an auth code for transfer to another registrar.
3. Transfer Crossbar.org admin¶
- Log in to Crossbar.org (credentials in Bitwarden).
- Add the new tech contact as an admin.
- Remove Evan's account once confirmed.
4. Transfer Slack workspace¶
- Log in to the CYLC Slack workspace (credentials in Bitwarden).
- Go to Settings → Workspace Owners and promote the new tech contact to Owner.
- They can then manage the workspace.
5. Transfer MailerLite¶
- Log in to MailerLite (credentials in Bitwarden).
- Add the new tech contact as an admin or transfer account ownership via MailerLite support.
