Step 0: Prerequisites¶
Purpose
Before you can manage accounts, subscriptions, or business interests, you need access to a few foundational tools: email, a password manager, and an Apple ID. This section walks you through establishing that access.
Audience
Everyone — but some steps are specific to Hope. Those are clearly marked.
Why this comes first¶
Every later step in the Legacy guide assumes you can:
- Receive email at
*@fiddlers.cloud(Proton catch-all). - Look up passwords in Bitwarden (shared collections and Evan's vault).
- Approve sign-ins using a YubiKey or recovery codes for multi-factor authentication.
If any of those three are missing, the remaining steps will be blocked. Complete this section before moving on.
