Legacy Instructions

Purpose

The purpose of these "Legacy Instructions" is to provide a clear, step-by-step guide for transferring control of our family's digital assets after Evan's (or Evan and Hope's) passing. This will walk you through all necessary steps of the "legacy" process. The intention is to make these steps as easy and accessible as possible.

Audience

All of the following steps are in order, though, each individual page will have notation about who should pay attention to each section. For instance, some steps are directed at Hope and will be unnecessary for others to complete and vice-versa. This will be denoted if there is a specific audience; otherwise, if not denoted, the audience is everyone.

How to Use This Guide

Follow the steps section below in order. Audience callouts indicate who must act. Most credentials reside in Bitwarden; do not paste secrets into these docs.
